This is a pathway program for GOTAFE Diploma of Wine Technology and GOTAFE Diploma of Production Horticulture (Viticulture) students and graduates, where you can further your career and obtain a University degree in Wine Business.
CSU's Wine Business program will prepare you for a business career in the rapidly expanding global wine industry, and further develop your wine business skills. CSU has a national reputation within the wine industry for high quality and practical graduates with strong employment outcomes, and teaching and learning excellence for regional students.
The CSU Bachelor of Wine Business is designed to develop knowledge and skills in winemaking, wine science, viticulture, wine appraisal and business.
As a graduate of the GOTAFE Diploma of Wine Technology or GOTAFE Diploma of Production Horticulture (Viticulture), you can articulate into CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business, with credit for your TAFE study.
CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business will be delivered from GOTAFE’s Rural Industries Campus in Wangaratta via a combination of supported distance education, and standard distance education. This means you will undertake subjects online, along with some on campus study support which varies according to subject and student need. Students may be required to attend residential school sessions on Wagga Wagga Campus. The sessions provide intensive teaching on the practical aspects of the course. Generally, the sessions are of three to five days' duration per subject.

CSU degrees are supported by the Commonwealth government. This means you can defer your university fees by using a HECSHELP loan. This is then repaid through the taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold. Or, there is a discount for students who pay their fees upfront.
