Charles Sturt University (CSU) is offering pathway programs from a range of diplomas and advanced diplomas into the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management, the Bachelor of Agriculture and the Bachelor of Wine Business.
A university degree in agriculture or wine science could develop your farm management or wine science skills, or further enhance your career in management, research, or consultancy roles within the agricultural or wine industry.

In collaboration with Goulburn Ovens TAFE (GOTAFE) and the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia (NCDEA), CSU will be offering the below pathway programs in 2013.

This program provides a pathway from a range of diplomas and advanced diplomas into CSU’s Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management. It is designed to enhance career opportunities at any point in the supply chain, from within the farm gate through to export and marketing of agriproducts, as well as within the industries that service the sector. The subjects included in this course produce graduates skilled in agricultural practice, who are ready to further enhance their management career, or take up management positions within the industry.
Delivery of this degree is via supported distance education, which means you will undertake subjects online, along with some on campus study support at GOTAFE’s Rural Industries Campus in Wangaratta.
Once students complete one of the qualifications listed above, they then enrol in the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management. Features of this program include;

This program provides a pathway from a range of diplomas into CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business.
CSU's Wine Business program will prepare you for a business career in the rapidly expanding global wine industry, and further develop your wine business skills. CSU has a national reputation within the wine industry for high quality and practical graduates with strong employment outcomes, and teaching and learning excellence for regional students.
The CSU Bachelor of Wine Business is designed to develop knowledge and skills in winemaking, wine science, viticulture, wine appraisal and business.
As a GOTAFE graduate with a relevant diploma, you can articulate into CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business, with credit for your TAFE study.
CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business will be delivered from GOTAFE’s Rural Industries Campus in Wangaratta via a combination of supported distance education, and standard distance education. This means you will undertake subjects online, along with some on campus study support which varies according to subject and student need. Students may be required to attend residential school sessions on Wagga Wagga Campus. The sessions provide intensive teaching on the practical aspects of the course. Generally, the sessions are of three to five days' duration per subject.
Once students complete one of the qualifications listed above, they then enrol in CSU's Bachelor of Wine Business. Features of this program include;

All CSU undergraduate courses are supported by the Commonwealth government, which means you can defer your university fees through a HECS-HELP loan.
In 2013, CSU launched a scholarship program specifically for CSU Wangaratta students. Called the 'GOTAFE to CSU' scholarship program, five scholarships worth $5,000 will be available to students.
Students who have graduated with Agricultural or related qualifications from other TAFEs and Vocational Education and Training providers are welcome to apply. Credit for these qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
CSU and GOTAFE are working together to establish a Regional University Centre at Wangaratta, with the aim of delivering a suite of degree programs that allow GOTAFE graduates to enrol with credit for their qualifications.
