This course exposes students to both theoretical and practical aspects of print journalism and production. It is designed to enhance student's career opportunities by developing writing, reporting and research skills, and to foster an understanding of the issues facing the practice of contemporary journalism.

Admission criteria
Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate qualification and have a demonstrated interest in print journalism and production. In special cases, applicants who can demonstrate equivalent qualifications and experience may be admitted to the course. All applicants to the course will be interviewed.
Graduation requirements
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
