Bachelor of Social Science (Emergency Management) - conversion course

This course will not have an intake in 2000.

The University offers the Conversion course for those who have graduated from the Associate Diploma in Emergency Management from the University of Tasmania or who are graduates of similar courses from other Universities. Completion of the Conversion course allows for upgrade from Associate Diploma to Degree level.

Admission criteria

Applicants must hold the Associate Diploma in Emergency Management from the University of Tasmania or similar course from another university. Applicants are selected on an annually competitive basis. Preference will be given to applicants who currently have Emergency Management responsibilities.

Credit

A credit package of 128 points is granted upon admission.

Graduation requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points, comprising the credit package of 128 points and 64 points ( 8 subjects) completed during enrolment in the course.
