All awards and prizes are presented annually although a particular award or prize may be withheld in a particular year if there is no candidate worthy of the award or prize or if it is not funded for that year.
Unless indicated to the contrary students do not have to apply to be considered for an award or prize.
Awards and prizes won by graduating students are normally presented at graduation ceremonies; and those won by continuing students are normally presented at a ceremony held on the relevant campus. However, some professional bodies may wish to present their award or prize at their own function.

Criteria: awarded to the graduand in either an honours year in

Australian Institute of Management Prize - Murray Valley Branch Prize
Criteria: awarded to students who have completed requirements
for the Bachelor of Business award at the Albury-Wodonga Campus, specialising
in tourism management, marketing or industrial relations. It is awarded
to the most outstanding graduate for a particular year and cannot be shared.
Award: $250 plus certificate or medallion and one year's membership
of the Institute of Management.
Best Achiever's Award in Tourism and Hospitality Studies
Criteria: awarded by the NSW Government to a student who is an
Australian citizen or a person granted permanent residency in Australia,
enrolled in the Bachelor of Business course through the School of Business,
with the most meritorious performance in the second year subjects of the
tourism management specialisation.
Award: $1,500
Award holders may be required to repay monies received if they fail to
complete the course.
Stirlings Accountancy Prize
Criteria: awarded to a part-time student enrolled in Bachelor
of Business (Accountancy) course through the School of Business with the
best performance in a minimum of three second year accounting specialisation
subjects taken during a particular year.

Human Resources Management Group Prize for Industrial Relations
Criteria: awarded to a second year Bachelor of Business student

Financial Accounting 2. The student must have resided for at least three
years in northeast Victoria or the Riverina region of NSW at the time subjects
were completed and must have come from a predominantly rural background.
Award: $250.
Association of Taxation and Management Accountants (ATMA) Prize
Criteria: two prizes awarded to students enrolled in the Bachelor
of Business (Accountancy) course, the first of whom has obtained the best
results in the ACC210 Management Accounting 1 and ACC310 Management Accounting
2 or equivalent; and the second of whom has obtained the best result in
the subject LAW320 Income Tax Law and Practice or the equivalent subject.
Award: $250 and one year's free membership of the ATMA if the student
is graduating.
Belbridge Hague & Co Award for Excellence in the Bachelor of Business (Management)
Criteria: awarded to a second year Bachelor of Business (Management)
student at the Albury-Wodonga Campus who has completed the eight foundation

Criteria: awarded to a student or group of students who have
demonstrated leadership which has enhanced the quality of life of the Bathurst

annually by the Head of Campus.
Award: a citation presented to the winner(s) at a major function
held on the campus as decided by the Award Panel.

Central Western Branch of Australian Federation of University Women of NSW Prize
Criteria: awarded to the most meritorious woman graduand in the
Central Western District of NSW who is enrolled at the Bathurst Campus.

Criteria: awarded to the graduands in the Bachelor of Education
course, undertaken through the School of Teacher Education, who have achieved
distinguished results in fourth year subjects.

Criteria: awarded to the internal full-time graduand who has
displayed outstanding ability in teaching practice subjects in a secondary
teacher education course undertaken through the School of Teacher Education.

Criteria: awarded to either a first or second year student of
the Bachelor of Education (Primary) course undertaken through the School
of Teacher Education (Primary) course undertaken through the School of
Teacher Education who has displayed outstanding commitment to academic
studies and fellowship with other students in the course..

Zylpha Taylor Award in Special Education
Criteria: awarded to a continuing student in a pre-service teacher
education course who has displayed outstanding ability in special education
subjects undertaken through the School of Teacher Education.

Dilys Howell Memorial Prize
Criteria: awarded to the student undertaking the Bachelor of
Applied Science (Environmental Science) (Honours) course through the Environmental
Studies Unit with the best results in the first session subjects.
Award: $200
Human Movement Studies Unit Prize for Professional Recreation Practice
Criteria: awarded to the graduand in the Bachelor of Social Science
(Recreation and Human Movement) course who has displayed outstanding ability
in the subjects EHR106 Applied Recreation 2 and EHR208 Applied Recreation
3 Fieldwork Placement.
Award: $200
Human Movement Studies Unit Prize for Recreation and Human Movement Honours Project
Criteria: awarded to the Bachelor of Social Science (Recreation
and Human Movement) (Honours) student who achieves the highest grade in
the honours project, or where two or more students achieve the highest
grade, the student with the highest grade point average will receive the
prize.

Criteria: awarded to the graduand in the Bachelor of Social Sciences

Criteria: awarded to a student completing a three or four year
bachelor degree majoring in agricultural economics with a meritorious academic
record.
Award: $100, one year's full membership of AAES and the waiving
of one half of the cost of attending the next AAES annual conference.
Australian Society of Soil Science Incorporated (Riverina Branch) Student Prize
Criteria: awarded to the student with the highest aggregate mark
in the subject PSC104 Soil Science.
Award: $200.
Beef Improvement Association of Australia Inc Prize
Criteria: awarded to the most outstanding graduating student
in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) course who has shown the
greatest understanding of and commitment to the performance breeding of
beef cattle.

Criteria: awarded to the student who shows most proficiency in
the sheep and wool content of the final year subjects ASC370 Grazing Livestock

Criteria: awarded to the most outstanding full-time student based
on academic and practical performance in the first year painting or printmaking
strands of the Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) course. The Award cannot
be shared.

Australian Psychological Society Student Subscribership Award
Criteria: awarded to the internal student in the second year
of a psychology major with best results in a minimum of three specified
psychology subjects.
Award: one year's student membership of the Society.
Tucker Seabrook Prize
Criteria: awarded to the most outstanding graduate enrolled in
either the Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science) or Bachelor of Applied
Science (Viticulture) courses who has a grade point average calculated
on the basis of four credit points for HD, three credit points for D, two
credit points for C and one credit point for P.
Award: Tucker Seabrook wines to the value of $500.
Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology Prize
Criteria: awarded to the first-year student enrolled on-campus
in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science) course or
the Bachelor of Applied Science (Viticulture) course who is studying at
least 75 percent of a full-time load and who achieves the most HD
and DI grades.
