Information on any of the traineeships listed below may be obtained from the School of Agriculture.
Vineyards Trainee
Criteria: awarded to applicants enrolled in the Associate Degree
in Wine Growing course who demonstrates commitment to, and involvement
in, the viticulture industry; and has a satisfactory performance.
Value/tenure: the traineeship involves 1500 hours work in the University
vineyard over 18 months.
Special conditions: the successful applicant will not be able to
take a full-time study load in the Autumn Session.
Winery Trainee
Criteria: awarded to the applicant in the Bachelor of Applied
Science (Wine Science) course who demonstrates commitment to, and involvement
in, the viticulture industry; and has a satisfactory academic performance.
Value/tenure: the traineeship involves 1500 hours work in the University
winery over 18 months.
Special conditions: the successful applicant will not be able to
take a full-time study load in the Autumn Session.
