This course is designed to meet an increasing demand for a post-graduate course that specialises in the design and production management of cultural events.

Admission criteria
An undergraduate degree in a related discipline, a postgraduate certificate and/or experience in cultural performance or community arts is generally required for admission into the course.
Credit
Credit will be awarded for COM521 and/or COM523 where students have successfully completed study equivalent to one or both of these subjects in CPEC’s Devising Celebration course.
Graduation requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.
Course structure
The course has five core subjects totalling 96 points, comprising four coursework subjects of 16 points each and a 32 point dissertation. There is one compulsory residential workshop during the second session, attached to COM523 Site-Specific Cultural Performance.
