ACT107 MODERN THEATRE (8)
Playscripts will be examined as texts for performance. Theatre conventions and dramatic literature of the past one hundred years will be analysed through study of selected plays, influential personalities and periods of innovation. The student will participate in improvisation and scene study and learn about the acting methodologies developed by Stanislavsky and Brecht.
