Research Methods.
This subject is designed to enable students to use appropriate research
techniques gained from the prerequisite subjects which deal with educational
research, to design and present an individual research project. The opportunity
to apply knowledge and skills learned in prerequisite subjects to research an
area of education are provided in this subject. Furthermore, this subject
allows students the opportunity to actively undertake the processes leading up
to research, including ethical approval, and the ability to collect and analyse
data for their individual research project. Finally, this subject allows
students to demonstrate their skills in the presentation of a concise, accurate
and relevant research report.
