Regardless of the success of fraud prevention/deterrence programmes there must be an investigative/reactive response to fraud. This subject will examine the specific offences within the fraud arena and the skills required for a successful investigation. Specifically the course will deal with the roles and responsibilities of various agencies involved in fraud investigation. 'Best Practice' in relation to Fraud Investigation will be discussed, and the collation, preservation and presentation of evidence to be considered in relation to fraud matters scrutinised.
