Both the Graduate Diploma and the Graduate Certificate are designed to provide an initial qualification for graduates working, or wishing to work, in vocational education and training.

The Graduate Certificate comprises the subjects undertaken in the first two sessions of the Graduate Diploma (part-time load only). Credit for the Graduate Certificate subjects may also be given in the Bachelor of Vocational Education & Training. Together with a Workplace Assessor qualification, the Graduate Certificate entitles students to a Certificate IV in Workplace Training on application to the VET Course Coordinator.

Graduate Certificate:
Part-time 1 year (2 sessions)

Admission criteria

For either course, applicants must hold an appropriate degree from a recognised university and have relevant industrial experience (in the case of the Graduate Diploma, a minimum of one year is required).

Articulation

The Graduate Certificate articulates with the Graduate Diploma undertaken as a part-time load. Credit is given in the Graduate Diploma for the Graduate Certificate subjects.

Graduation requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points (eight subjects) for the Graduate Diploma and 32 points (four subjects) for the Graduate Certificate.
