The course is designed to meet the national education and training needs of those who work in the irrigation industry. It provides a means for irrigation professionals to upgrade their skills and knowledge whilst attaining a recognised tertiary qualification. Theory is linked and integrated with practice. Students undertake field-based projects that illustrate the application of theoretical concepts.
Modular pathways are available within the course to cater for the differing needs of the two main groups of irrigators: irrigation schedulers and industry service providers.
