A Master of Theology (Honours) offers students an opportunity to undertake a thesis by research in the Faculty’s priority research areas of New Testament studies and theology.

Course completion

Full-time: 1 year minimum/2 years maximum

Part-time: 2 years minimum/4 years maximum

Students should consult the Higher Degrees Regulations for information about admission, duration and thesis requirements.

Graduation requirements

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete a thesis which is equivalent to 128 points.

Course structure

Students should contact the Field of Research Coordinator to discuss possible research topics. In consultation with the Coordinator, each student will be allocated one of the following research subject codes and will enrol in that subject for the period of their candidature:

THL601     Master Honours Research (Theology) (part-time)

THL602     Master Honours Research (Theology) (full-time)
