This course provides a
professional program in addiction studies for Social Science graduates. It is
designed to meet the requirements of current employers and employees in the
welfare, community service and education industries. It is also aimed at people
who are interested in changing careers to this area of interest, therefore
graduates from other relevant disciplines are able to enrol in the degree.
There are no residential schools.

Admission criteria
Applicants should hold
a relevant degree from a university or college or a qualification deemed to be
equivalent.
Graduation requirements
To graduate, students
must satisfactorily complete 64 points, consisting of eight session-length
subjects.
Course structure
The course structure is
designed for students completing the program in the distance education
part-time mode. However, some students may wish to undertake the course in
full-time mode. The course structure comprises the following:
a) six core subjects
