Accounting 1 is an introductory subject designed to provide all business students with an overview of how accounting data is processed into accounting information.This is done by teaching students how to prepare simple financial statements and providing basic skills to analyse and interpret accounting information. Additional topics covered include the accounting regulatory framework, internal controls and ethics in accounting.
