HRM330   Strategic Human Resource Management   (8)

The subject aims to integrate various functional areas of human resource management with business strategy, so as to provide a business orientation in the practice of HRM.  Both the theoretical as well as application issues in staffing, compensation, performance appraisal and training and development will be studied.  This subject expects a knowledge of business strategy concepts and it is strongly advised that students enrol in MGT330 prior to, or concurrently with, enrolment in HRM330.
