Examines the nature of contemporary employment relations operating at the micro or workplace level of Australian industry. In doing this the subject establishes the role and nature of the main participants, the processes of interaction used and the broad employment relations outcomes that critically define the nature and purpose of employment. In identifying workplace employment relations the subject also analyses the current industry, national and international contexts which impact on the individual employment relationship.
