This subject concentrates on the practice aspects, the nuts and bolts of industrial relations, including industrial relations procedures and processes. Negotiation theory and practice is emphasised with students practicing the necessary skills and industrial relations policies and institutional structures and roles are evaluated; this subject brings together both industrial relations theory and industrial relations as it is practised.
