ITC114   Database Management Systems   (8)

ER: Not available to students who have completed ITC202 or ITC423 or ITC443

This subject aims to provide a solid grounding in Database Management theory and application, and its place within the implementation of computer based applications.  There will be an emphasis on conceptual modelling to design the database that is implemented and queried using Structured Query Language (SQL).
