Enrolment Restriction: The subject is restricted to students enrolled in courses originating from Rural Management on the Orange Campus and who have successfully completed RMBU1645. Other students should consult with their Course Coordinator prior to seeking enrolment.
Financial Accounting II builds on the elementary accounting knowledge and skills acquired in Financial Accounting I, extending their application to the business of a partnership, including the principles and practice of establishing, operating and dissolution of such a business structure. The unit also examines the design and development of accounting information systems and considers the rudiments of internal control in both a manual and computerised environment. The application of accounting standards to both accounting practices and financial reporting is addressed throughout the unit.
