DBA711 Research Issues (16)

Enrolment Restriction: DBA and DInfoTech students only
DBA711, Research Issues, has been designed to introduce you to some of the key issues associated with doctoral research and writing. What will become clear is that there is not one 'right way' to undertake and perform doctoral work. The aim here is to inform your research practice and build knowledge and skills that will be of benefit across your doctoral candidature and beyond. Attention is given to the nature of the research process, including the steps to be followed in planning and designing a research project and this leads to a consideration of the philosophy of research and the means by which researchers identify issues and acquire knowledge. A research induction program must be completed as part of DBA711.

This information is for currently enrolled students, and students wishing to re-enrol. Please consult the online course brochures for prospective students looking to enrol in 2008.
