Enrolment Restriction: ITC304 Software Engineering Project Management (obsolete from 1998);
ITC493 Postgraduate equivalent subject;
ITC505 Master of Information Technology equivalent.
This subject's approach considers many of the nine knowledge areas of project management as introduced by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in its Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). The knowledge areas studied are: project integration management, project scope management, project time management, project cost management, project quality management, project human resources management, project communications management, project risk management, and project procurement management.
