This subject examines client-server computing, its architectures, components and deployment, using several frameworks. It examines the history of client-server computing, the types of client-server applications being used in industry at present and how the industry is likely to change. Research into a technical area of client-server computing in-depth will develop new skills required in developing distributed and e-commerce applications design as well as a student's own interpersonal skills in communicating their design.
