VIT215 Viticulture (8)

The subject examines the world and the Australian viticultural scenes with particular emphasis on market trends, viticultural products and post-harvest procedures. Industry structure at a local, national and international level sets the scene for a global industry.
Grapevine structure, growth and development provides a base for the management of vines as an individual or as part of a vineyard system. Selection of key resources of variety, climate and soils is covered prior to the establishment and management of the vineyard.
