ACC355 Security, Control & Audit (8)
Prerequisite: ACC356 or MGT220
This subject examines the security, internal control and audit issues surrounding the use of electronic commerce technologies. Students are introduced to the concepts, theories and practices of CIS audit, internal control, security and risk management. The subject will include an examination of the security needs for traditional networks, software applications, the internet and wireless networks. The subject also addresses the ethical and legal issues surrounding e-commerce security, the types of crime that can be committed electronically and how to detect them.
