This subject provides an introduction to the key role of information in the management process. It comprises three modules which focus on business information needs, the tools of information management, and the practical development of a simple information system in the form of a case study.
This subject integrates theoretical and applied aspects of information management and sets out to provide a useful 'hands-on' introduction to computer applications and library systems for the commencing student.
