This subject is designed to provide an overview of the provision of reference information within the learning and teaching context of the school. Print and digital reference sources are examined as well as search strategies and resource evaluation. The teacher librarian's role in the provision of reference and information services in the school is explored, as well as how the school links into the wider library and information environment.
