The subject aims to develop an understanding of a representative range of issues in international finance and global financial markets. It covers topics such as sport and forward exchange rates, interest rate parity, currency hedging and exchange rate forecasting techniques. It also covers new developments in the international financial system such as eurocommercial paper and the internationalisation of the equity market.
