Enrolment Restriction: Not available to student who have completed subject ITC509.
The aim of this subject is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform advanced administration tasks in a network operating system environment, specifically in a Microsoft Windows network. The subject covers administrative tasks to manage large number of users and computers. It also provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement and administer the Windows directory services infrastructure in an enterprise environment. It describes key decision points for naming, delegation of authority, and domain designs. The implementation platform will be Microsoft Windows Server 2003 network.
