This subject describes the physiology of the human body, emphasising aspects pertinent to speech pathology, speech and hearing science, occupational therapy and podiatry. Starting with concepts in chemistry and biochemistry related to human physiology, it explores the function of the human body in health and disease placing emphasis on its hierarchical organisation from molecules to organ systems.
