BMS150 Functional Anatomy (16)

Enrolment Restriction: Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Health and Rehabilitaion Science, Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy)
Students undertake a course of study in the anatomy, design and function of those components of the musculoskeletal system/peripheral vasculature and peripheral nerves critical to diagnosis, intervention and rehabilitation in professional practice. In addition, the concepts of gait, balance, proprioception and a basic understanding of task analysis are considered. Relevant anatomical knowledge will be acquired by students through the use of cadaveric prosections.
