BMS234 Podiatric Anatomy and Biomechanics (8)
Prerequisite: BMS150 and BMS152 and BMS255
Enrolment Restriction: Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours).
This subject continues the study of the structure and function of the lower limb and related structures in association with the establishment of techniques in examination, evaluation and treatment of biomechanical disorders. Areas of study include the gait cycle and gait analysis, introduction to pathomechanics and principles and practices of orthotic therapy.
