Enrolment Restriction: Entry into the Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary), Bachelor of Education (Health and PE), Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary), Bachelor of Education (TAS), Bachelor of Education (Secondary Mathematics) program or as determined by the course coordinator.
This on-site subject will introduce students to the secondary school context in the capacity of teacher. Students will continue their investigations of the social relations of a secondary school classroom through active participation in the teaching and learning process. They will be supported in their efforts to apply their developing knowledge and skills by experienced curriculum professionals. The assessment of this subject will be closely aligned to teaching professional standards.
