This subject considers the changing nature of educational leadership in postmodern times. It examines how global, national and local forces are propelling educational organisations towards change. It analyses educational leadership from a number of theoretical perspectives including critical and feminist theories. It explores the moral and ethical dimensions of leadership, including the dilemmas facing postmodern leaders in terms of management of change, people, accountability and the competing demands from various stakeholders.
