This subject provides a theoretical foundation for the core learning and development functions, and the knowledge and skills needed to apply behavioural, cognitive and adult learning theories to develop students' training capabilities. Theories and practices in conducting training needs analysis, designing training programs, selecting and using training methods, utilising training technologies, assessing and evaluating training activities are examined.
