This subject introduces the student to the nature of management practices with an emphasis on the development and practical application of relevant workplace skills-based knowledge. This subject emphasises behavioural dimensions of health services management with attention focused on the functions of decision-making, managing conflict, organisational communication, understanding power relationships, working with and leading groups/teams, managing organisational change and understanding organisational culture.
