Enrolment Restriction: Available to students enrolled in Graduate Diploma of Applied Science (Library and Information Management) and Master of Applied Science (Library and Information Management) only.
Not available to students who have completed INF107 or INF108 or INF118 or INF402 or INF437.
This subject seeks to acquaint students with the diversity of institutions and approaches to be found within the library and information profession and to allow them to observe in operation concepts and practises of study in other subjects. It does so by giving students first-hand experience of a variety of libraries and other information agencies, through at least twenty hours of structured and supervised visits.
