Ethical issues arising in business and professional life are addressed from the standpoint of western moral philosophy and in particular the Aristotelian virtue-ethics tradition. Topics covered include the ethical limitations of the corporation under capitalism, appropriate conduct in the workplace, consumer protection; the crisis in the natural environment, ethical considerations facing multinational corporations e.g. bribery and nepotism, and dilemmas facing professionals with respect to confidentiality of client information.
