Enrolment Restriction: Postgraduate students
This subject is an introduction to operations management, with an emphasis on manufacturing processes. Students become familiar with applications of operations management by studying a number of plant tours and then undertaking their own plant tour. Students are also introduced to quantitative techniques applicable to operations management, including the use of a computer package. Assumed knowledge for this subject is equivalent to that covered in MGT501.
