MID442 Midwifery Studies 2 (8)
Enrolment Restriction: Students enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery or Registered Midwives undertaking the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) only.
This subject has as its main focus the midwifery care of the childbearing woman who may experience complications during the antenatal, labour, birth, postnatal and neonatal period. Students will also study the midwifery care of the sick infant as well as the care of the woman and family who have experienced a stillbirth or neonatal death.
