SPH103 Analysing Language, Interaction and Context (8)
Prerequisite: SPH101
This subject focuses on the application of theory to the detailed exploration of real language samples. Students will develop their ability to analyse existing transcriptions of ordinary, institutional and disordered interactions using a variety of linguistic methodologies. Students will apply the knowledge and skills they develop through the analysis of existing transcribed data to the analysis of real-time interaction between people.
