SPH211 Language Impairments in Children and Adolescents (8)
Prerequisite: SPH106 and SPH103
In this subject students will study language / learning delays and impairments in childhood and adolescence. This subject deals with approaches to the assessment and management of language / learning delays and impairments including specific language impairment and learning difficulties from infancy onwards, whether or not these impairments arise from or co-occur with a variety of related conditions (such as hearing impairment, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disability and head injury.)
