Prerequisite: THL122
This practical subject is designed to enhance skills and knowledge in the area of Pastoral Care. Communication and interpersonal skills will be applied within the context of specific pastoral situations such as grief and loss, serious illness, family and relationship issues, depression, spiritual struggle, violence and crisis responses. Students will be encouraged to integrate skills and knowledge with an increasing self-awareness, theological reflection and a practical approach to professional and ethical issues in the area of pastoral care.
