Prerequisite: THL102 and THL105
Focusing on the book of Jonah, this subject builds upon work completed in THL102 so that students can handle, with some confidence, the study of other Hebrew texts to support further Old Testament studies and exegetical work. Grammatical, linguistic and other devices employed in Hebrew texts are studied, and an appreciation of the literary qualities of texts are developed.
