Prerequisite: THL122 and THL228
This subject builds on the skills and knowledge of THL122 and THL228 in the areas of the person of the carer, the needs of the person seeking help, and best practice in chosen process. The subject focuses on the integration of theological reflection within the pastoral care process. Advanced concepts of professional ethics, supervision for pastoral care, dealing with moral dilemmas, and cross cultural issues will be addressed.
