This subject introduces Old Testament Hebrew as a basis for further studies of the text of the Old Testament. The subject covers basic vocabulary, grammar and syntax of Old Testament Hebrew, and the complexities of translation work. Translation into English of selected Old Testament materials is an important component of the subject.
