It explores the German and Swiss church reformations and the reactions of the Church in Rome; the radical reformation and the survival of religious minorities; English and Scottish church reformations from Henry VIII to Elizabeth I; the Stuart religious settlement and its collapse, and Commonwealth and Restoration settlements of religion.
