This subject provides a theoretical basis for understanding the ageing process from a pyschosocial and spiritual perspective for health care workers, clergy and pastoral carers. It introduces students to various aspects of the study of psychosocial and spiritual development in the later years of life. The subject pays special attention to theories of psychosocial and spiritual development and the impact of such development on role changes, study of narrative, life review and meaning in later life.
