Coursework

The course aims to produce critically reflective and innovative educational leaders. Additionally, these leaders will be exposed to the ways many countries tackle educational issues. Each subject in the course adopts multiple and critical perspectives and draws upon current and relevant international research. The course is designed to build on, and further enhance, the knowledge, skills and qualities that these education leaders bring as a result of their previous studies and experience and to draw on the intellectual property and expertise of the Ontario Principals' Council particularly with regard to practical skills and capabilities. The curriculum emphasises the role of practitioner as researcher and consequently, students are involved in designing, developing and implementing research based projects as part of their assessment.
