DOH551 Introduction to Dental Implants and Basic Restorative Implantology (16)
Enrolment restrictions: Restricted to dentists currently registered within any State or Territory of Australia.
The first module will introduce the participants to the concepts of implant dentistry. The history and development of implant dentistry will be covered. The scientific basis of osseo-integration will be covered. The second module will introduce the participants to the concepts of restoring dental implants and the concepts of treatment planning the placement of implant supported prostheses from a restorative perspective. The third module of this subject will introduce the participants to the concepts of placing implant supported prosthesis in the edentulous mandible.
